Here at Rosewood Barn we provide you with a traditional South Dakota Hunting Experience along with the outdoor beauty of South Dakota

The Owner of Rosewood Barn, Mark Meier, will accompany all Hunts

All Hunting Packages Include:

  • Fully Guided Hunts
  • Home cooked breakfast and dinner

To Guide you on your private hunt at the Rosewood Barn will be; Mark Meier, Patrick Meier, Marty Moody, and John Frazer along with their dogs

Pheasant season begins the 3rd week of October and goes until January 6th. At the Rosewood Barn we also offer hunts September 1- October 17 as well as January 7 - March 31 on a couple of South Dakota's finest preserves. Hunting licenses, gun, ammunition, and orange safety vest/caps must be furnished by each hunter. Licenses can be purchased online at the South Dakota Department of Game, Fish, and Parks.

***THINGS TO REMEMBER***

ONE PIECE OF BLAZE ORANGE IS REQUIRED

  • Blaze Orange Vest (Recommended)
  • Blaze Orange Hat (Recommended)
  • Safety Glasses (Recommended)
  • Shotgun (12 Gauge or 20 Gauge is most common)
  • Hunting License
  • Lightweight Rain Gear
  • Boots (Waterproof and Broken in)
  • Cold Weather Hunting Jacket
  • Hunting Gloves (Both heavy and light - be sure you you can operate your gun)
  • Long Underwear / Under Armor
  • Ear Plugs
  • Chap stick
  • Stocking Hat or Ear Band/Muffs
